Sit down shower

We're in the middle of renovating our attic conversion and have hit a snag. The architect has underestimated the space available in the attic so the shower room is too small. Between the top of the staircase and the vaulted ceilings, it means that we are unlikely to get a decent shower into the shower room. Unless our joiner can work some staircase magic, we have 2 options:

  1. The shower room (which is for 2 teenage girls) will just become a sink unit and toilet.
  1. We try and fit in a sit-down shower in the angled wall (pic attached).

What would you do?

They'd have a shower and bath on the next floor down

Could it be a wet room? Removes the need for a separate shower. I’ve stayed in places where the entire room is the shower. Shower Curtain across the doorway. Sink and toilet get splashed when you shower.

Thanks @LemonViolet it's certainly worth considering.

OP Have not seen your pic but in many ways a waterproof chair in a wet room is much more flexible than a built-in sit-down shower. I've stayed somewhere with a built-in pull-down seat in the shower but found it very awkward to use; I've also stayed somewhere with a free-standing waterproof chair in a wet room, and found that much more comfortable. You can either get a simple moulded plastic garden chair, or buy something - from big plumbers' merchant or (eg) Lloyd's Chemists - sold as a shower chair or a shower stool

Finally! Here's the pic!
