Someone suggested these for putting pictures up etc
Where do you normally get yours from? Where's the cheapest place? As they don't look cheap
Also it says don't put them on wallpaper?! Is this true I can't use these on wallpaper?!

Don’t know about the wallpaper I’m afraid as I don’t have any!

I have bought the ones for canvas prints on Amazon. Worth checking Wilkos,Dunelm,Robert dyas,eBay?

Agadorsparticus · 27/01/2022 23:22

I picked some up in Wilko's at the weekend. The smaller clear ones were £3.75 a pack, I didn't think these were too expensive.

Thank you for the ideas I will have a look at all these shops then, see which is the cheapest

Are they easy to use?

I usually order the assorted packs from Amazon - we use them a lot especially in our new build

purpleme12 · 27/01/2022 23:39

Ok thank you will have a look on there

They work v well on part noted walls (unless you have a damp issue)

The manufacturer advice re not using on wallpaper is both that they may not stick very well (esp if wallpaper is a raised pattern / shiny paper / flock / embossed/ textured / etc). Or they may stick TOO well if matte absorbent paper - and then damage the paper when removing. There are too many variables with wallpaper so manufacturer just says it's not advised, I expect.

Part noted walls = painted walls

I use them for shall things, like small A4 framed pictures but I tried some of the heavy duty ones for an A1 frame and it lasted about 2 weeks before it fell of the wall so I don't trust them now. It was a clean, painted wall, I used 4 strips and followed the instructions but no luck.
