House Rewiring Nightmare

Hi All I have posted a picture of the electric mains for the house I am having work done on. Could anyone possibly give their opinion on the copper wiring that's showing? Is this normal? Help please.

Looks like they have set up this temporarily while it's been done. Copper shouldn't be showing like that.

That's presumably somewhere hidden away - meter cupboard etc? As said it's just temporary. I wouldn't worry at all.

Gosh that's totally wrong, that switch should be in an enclosure and fixed in place. That would be a C1 on an inspection which is the worst issue.
That shouldn't be energised at all, Lett alone left like that. It could kill someone or start a fire easily.
This is something quite serious, hope you get this sorted asap
