White Painted Floor

Does anyone have a white painted floor? I have a burning desire to paint the floor of my dining room white to brighten the room up BUT I have a 1yr old and an almost 3 year old. I'm just wondering how easy it will be to clean off the tonnes of food that they drop!

TIA x

I took a walk down and didn’t want to replace the entire floor. So we had Lino in the kitchen part and carpet in the living area part and put down a long piece of wood in the middle where the gap was.
Was okay. Actually looked quite nice. But oh my god it was a pain. Who knew one piece of white floor could get so dirty. I swear people in this house Lucy have been standing on it and moving their feet around on it all day.
They weren’t but it was so dirty all the time.

Wall. Not walk. Obviously.

Yeah I can just picture how filthy it will be, I'll have to leave it. No point making more work for ourselves at this point!

I have some white floor but it does look manky at times. Could you replace with a brightly covered rubber while your kids are young instead. Then change it later if needed?

White wood effect Lino could be a solution? Easy to clean and simple to replace if you want.
