Spare slot in kitchen

Hi

We’re moving house and the new house has a space in the kitchen where there is currently an under the counter freezer. We don’t really need any extra freezer space - any clever ideas of what we can use the extra space for?

If not an extra white goods space possibly

Dog/cat bed
Veg rack
Wine rack
Small wheel out island type thing
Landfill bin, recycling bin. Landfill on left and recycling on right obviously!
Space to hide from the kids....this is Mumsnet after all!

I’m liking the recycling bin idea especially. Normally recycling gets piled up by the back door until someone can be bothered to take it out but a big bin for paper and another for plastics / metal could work really well

My husband always used to say he wanted that when were students - couldn’t see the point of unloading into cupboard and reusing again. I completely forgot until just now
