swanley relocation

Hi I am thinking of relocating to Swanley can anyone tell me what the area is like I have two children 19and 21 so schools and playing areas are not of interest as they both work and will be using the train as the time it takes to get to bromley is appealing just would like to know if the area is nice to live safe as much as it can be close to london people are friendly ect thanks

Hi I lived in Swanley many years ago, i don’t know if it has improved but must admit I really didn’t like it very much, quite a bit of anti social behaviour & just generally not very pleasant.
Swanley village/Hextable/Wilmington was nicer but as I say was a long time ago, hopefully someone will be along who may have more recent experience.

About 15 years ago it was a dive - not sure now though sorry, sure someone better placed will come along to answer.

Would you look at other areas, Swanley to Bromley is an awkard journey on public transport transport. What is your budget and essentials.
