We’ve recently moved and have a barely functional tiny family bathroom. It measures 1.95m by 1.75m. The bath/shower is along the shortest wall and loo and sink along the longest wall. The bath is next to the window.
We thought about moving the bath to the other wall so we don’t have to shower near a window. But moving the loo to the opposite wall would be a nightmare as due to a ground floor extension, relocating the soil pipe would be difficult. The alternative is to have a really short bath and loo next to it. The sink would then be on the external wall.
I think this might be a bit shit-bath too small as we’ve been told it would be max 1.3m. Also it would look very bitty. My feeling is to keep things as they are and make sure the area around the window is fully waterproofed-at the moment, it’s plaster. Tiles or boards? That would make things look neater as the bath would be tucked in properly. Would this work?
What sort of fittings would make the most of a small room. I’d like a wall hung loo and sink. Tbh, the bathroom company. Haven’t been that helpful-they’ve recommended sinks with bulky cupboards underneath and assume we want a built in mirror light which aren’t our things really.
This is a bit rambling-new to this!
