Anyone had trickle vents added.

I have just moved house and struggling with certain rooms in terms of condensation and black mould.

The rooms that have trickle vents in them are perfectly fine. So I want to have them added to the other three rooms.

Has anyone added them after the windows were done. Did it cost lots?

It’s easy!
They drilled a few holes and stuck on the plastic vent piece on both sides. Shouldn’t cost much.

Our fitter had to retrospectively do it to a few windows where the manufacturer hadn’t done it. It was an extension, so was needed for building regs for those windows.

Yes as said above, it was done quickly and with no damage. We needed it as we were having cavity wall insulation. No problem with the windows and happy with having the insulation done as well.
