cold water taps just a trickle - Piglet john or anyone handy please help

Hot water tap working fine but all the cold water taps are just trickling. Does anyone have any ideas what the issue might be?

Is your kitchen cold tap affected?

Thanks just discovered lots of houses affected - am emailing water company.

Do you have a hot water tank, or a combi boiler? What's the temperature where you are?

Guessing you don’t have a combi boiler so your hot water comes from a cylinder heated by the boiler ?

Are your neighbours affected? Maybe there’s work on the water supply locally?

Check the water shutoff tap , probably under the sink, turn it fully clockwise, then back half a turn.
