New window ledge

I’m hoping to get a window ledge only replaced from old wood to upvc.
Who would do this type of job, would a window company do it even though I don’t want a new window or would it be another trade?

You could overboard with a Upvc capping board from somewhere like Eurocell

it is a very simple job.

A saw to cut it to length, and a few screws

it may need packing or filling beneath for level.

if the ends are cut into the plaster (and filled later) it will look neater
