Moved house - missing LED control box

We’ve moved into a house a while back which has a reading nook thing. Basically they’ve made an alcove in the lounge.

There are led strip lights in there and the note the previous owners left mentioned a white control box with an antenna.

They said to download magic colour app and that would make it work.

We’ve never tried to use the alcove but are finally doing up the lounge which wasn’t useable before as part of the room needed replastering.

We put everything they left for us in one cupboard and no box with antenna Shock

Can we buy a replacement box? I think it’s a bit too long ago for us to pester the sellers about it and we have no forwarding details for them either.

Does anyone know how these systems work?

I’d get them replaced. Led strip lights are really inexpensive, it isn’t worth the hassle.

Ours are Phillips Hue, which are a bit more money because you need the Hue box. We can control them from our phones or with Alexa. We have all the other bulbs linked too, and really like them.

But can get some cheaper ones for under £10, have a look on Amazon.

Ah brilliant thank you - the bloody annoying thing is we’ve just had the room repainted

Have a look how they are attached to the wall, some come with a casing that you can just reuse. Or you could find ones with a wider casing (also called a profile) to cover the bit that isn’t painted.
Hope you find something you love, definitely look at Phillips Hue and the package with the control hub, they are very good quality.
