iceland in the kithe 1.2 by 1.8 what woudl you advise to put under it?

We just want 2 bar chairs,
no sink, no hob,
so what would be useful to include?

Thank you

It really depends what other space you have and whether you have a utility room etc. Ours includes washing machine and freezer (& hob) as far as appliances go. Plus cupboards for general use and kitchen gadgets, cutlery and pan drawers.

Big drawers for pans, casseroles and baking trays
Wine fridge & bottle cupboard

Under counter fridges, undercounted freezer, pan drawers, cupboard for glasses and “best” crockery. wine rack, storage for bulky appliances, somewhere for recipe books...
1.2 by 1.8 gives you a row of 60cm units back-to back (1.2m), with a 30cm overhang for stools to give you a useful length for cupboards of 1.5m, for example.

It’s very hard to answer without info on the rest of ur kitchen.

We put big drawers for chopping boards etc. round the back had shallow cupboards for stuff we don’t use much. Wish we had put a pull out spice drawer. Also If going to use for prep put a bin under counter so you can sweep stuff straight into it.

Friend put a sink with a cut out of the work surface over it and uses it as wine beer cooler at parties. We don’t have enough parties to do that but it looks cool.

A bin under the counter is a great idea!

How much do I need to leave for overhang for bar chairs? width 1.80, there are 4 in family, so would I plan for 2 bar stools or 3 bar stools?

Oh god don’t do it.

pasok1000 · 03/01/2022 21:46

do you mean not to leave overhang for bar stools?
