Which colours for painting the outside of my house?

I think white or magnolia are the most practical as they will never be discontinued.
White is probably the best option, but what colour for the sills, reveals and skirting.
Door is currently black but this can be changed front of house has one door and 2 windows either side.
Fascia boards and soffit are white, but could be changed to black?
Please help any ideas most welcome

We painted our extension white (chalk white) and it was blinding in the summer sun.

We repainted the whole house in Sandtex Sandstone and it's a nice warm colour without the peachiness of magnolia.

Thanks for that- I want the house to look clean but as u say it might just be blinding. The only reason I'm considering these 'boring' colours is so I can retouch. I had bad experience of my colour being discontinued- half way through the paint job ☹️☹️
I'd like one of those light olive colours and wondering if I should paint the reveals etc in this and the house white?
As you mention the preachiness of magnolia is off putting.
Is sandex paint good? I was going to go for weather shield

Our neighbour’s have a blue/lilac/grey colour that I love with their black door. Really lovely balance. We couldn’t go for the same as it would look odd and their garage is attached to us so people already think it’s ours so we need a different colour. We went with a cream colour - dulux gardenia I think.

Your idea for the olive colour with white sounds lovely, here's a couple of ideas for you.

Whatever colour you go for I'd suggest using a RAL colour and getting it mixed by whichever paint manufacturer you choose. That way you know you're not going to have a discontinuation issue! This link might help ral-colours.co.uk/ral-classic-colours/
