What to think about prior to renovation work?

Hi, we are having a major downstairs renovation in February this year.
We will probably have to live upstairs for most of it, it's planned to take 10-12 weeks. That will limit me, DH and 2 DCs (9&10) to three bedrooms (one is a box room and filled with rubbish tbh) and a shower room.
I've already found a storage unit- what should go into it?
I'm planning on batch cooking and freezing as many meals as I can but don't really know what else to do to prepare, especially when it comes to school uniforms, weekends etc.
Any advice from those who have embarked on the same thing would be great!
I've looked into renting an air bnb but that would be about £3k per month where we are and we don't have the budget. No relatives nearby.
Thanks.

Are you having a temporary kitchen put in upstairs? Empty the box room have it in there if you can plumb a sink in. You need a sink and a small fridge, microwave and something like a baby belling (oven with two hot plates on top). You need the utensils/pots/cutlery and dishes for cooking and eating.
Laundry - where is your machine and will you be able to access it?
Assume two dcs in one room you two in the other bedroom - can you make your bedroom the living space too? Have a TV in there?
Put all the downstairs stuff in storage. The less the trades need to navigate the better.

Assume it will take twice as long as they have quoted and that everything in a room which you are going in and out of regularly will be completely covered in dust every day. Can you have a separate entrance from the builders and completely seal the staircase and upstairs landing off from the downstairs building site? I also found it helped if I kept thinking that it was like an adventure and would make us all more resilient and that the house would be lovely afterwards.

I would put the box room stuff into storage too unless you are not going to go into that room?
