Hello,
We have a baby on the way and what is currently the office will be the baby's new bedroom once old enough. We're planning to move the office to the utility room, which has space for a desk, but is currently fairly cold as single glazed and no central heating. We're going to get the window double glazed, but were wondering the best way to heat it. We could get a radiator put in, but the room is quite a way away from the nearest radiator... ant sure what this would cost? We're also wanting to extend in the next few years so may knock the utility room down and move it into the garage, so wouldn't want to install a radiator then knock it all down! Could be fine if it didn't cost that much though and could just put the radiator in the new extension.
That may well be the best option, but are also considering some kind of temporary heating solution, such as a plug in radiator.. how efficient are they/expensive to run etc? Any other options?
Thanks in advance!
