Keeping spare tiles

Is it worth keeping spare tiles from bathroom tiling in case some get damages?

We keep ours in a pile under the bath (which has a surround). Best place for them so they don't clutter up a cupboard and you don't see them, but I'd really regret throwing them out if one got chipped

It is well worth keeping spare tiles. In my last house we were able to replace the shower, when it went wrong, and retile around it as we had spare tiles. In my current house, they have left no spare tiles and the shower is playing up but a new one will mean a new bathroom.

Definitely keep some in case you have to change any fittings in future.

yes, but not many and stashed under the bath if possible.

Yes, never get rid and keep as spares (unless you over ordered and have several un-opened boxes you want a refund on).

In a bathroom keep them under the bath behind the panel.
In a kitchen keep them on the floor under the units behind the plinth.
