In my new kitchen plan, we have wall cabinets on one side, then the extractor hood, and then two rows of shelves on the right. The wall cabinets are 57cm above the worktop, with a 7cm pelmet, so the pelmet ends 50cm above the worktop. The hood will be 70cm above the worktop.
Exam question: what height should the two rows of shelves be?
Also useful info: I'll be using Zellige tiles that measure 10x10cm, so picking a multiple of 10cm will make things look neater.
I think probably 50cm for the lower shelf, and 80cm for the higher shelf. What does MN say?
