Who lives in a house like this?

It looks as if it’s been designed by a particularly unimaginative committee who were given the brief ‘soulless neutrals, and make all the surfaces shiny’.

dumdedumpop · 11/12/2021 11:20

Definitely a footballer. I wonder which one?

Sd352 · 11/12/2021 11:25

The setting is lovely and the lower ground floor is cool but it really doesn't seem worthwhile for £15 million. I feel I have seen similar houses in, say, Chicago suburbs for $2 million or so. How does anyone live in such a colourless world though?

sanityisamyth · 11/12/2021 11:27

@Isausernameavailable

House is horrible, but I'd buy it for the horsey stuff

Ditto. Want to go halves?!

ToughTittyWhompus · 11/12/2021 11:28

That’s fucking horrible

GrimDamnFanjo · 11/12/2021 11:47

I like the views and the bathrooms.
But I really want to know who lives there?

The stables look private and not a business?

Anyone live nearby?

hygtt · 11/12/2021 11:52

Everything is so square! the beds, cinema chairs, ceilings, headboards, toilet, coffee tables!

MissCruellaDeVil · 11/12/2021 11:53

Very new money, would suit a footballer.

hygtt · 11/12/2021 11:54

windows, garden furniture, sofas, bath, So many right angles!

Sparklfairy · 11/12/2021 11:59

For that price I'd prefer this www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/111564776#/?channel=RES_BUY

Note the floor plan with Kitchen 1, 2 and 3 Grin

WatchMyLips · 11/12/2021 12:18

I know it well @Sparklfairy , Its gorgeous

hygtt · 11/12/2021 12:25

surely that has ghosts though!

Sparklfairy · 11/12/2021 12:26

I didn't even think of ghosts, actually all I thought about was the heating bills and how draughty it must be Grin

AlfonsoTheUnrepentant · 11/12/2021 12:28

For that price I'd prefer this www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/111564776#/?channel=RES_BUY

That's more like it.
hygtt · 11/12/2021 12:41

oh yes heating would be prohibitive!

Shadowboy · 11/12/2021 19:03

I’ll take it for the land and horsey stuff

tillytoodles1 · 11/12/2021 19:07

I'd need a pair of glasses in every room. I live in a two bedroomed flat and I'm always losing them.

Ohdofuckoffcovid · 11/12/2021 19:09

Footballer

A580Hojas · 11/12/2021 19:11

Absolutely hideous in every respect. I can hardly think of somewhere I'd llike to live less, even my shabby 3 bed terrace which needs loads of repairs and work.

SingItToWinIt · 11/12/2021 19:15

I never get why people need so much space - you can only be in one room at a time

Yes me too.

Personally I also can't think of much worse than having everything you 'need' at home. Such as gym, swimming pool, cinema room. You'd never have to go out - and with a house that isolated you could go months seeing no one. It just doesn't appeal to me at all.

lololololollll · 11/12/2021 19:16

Love it. But I would pay 2ml for it. If I had that. At the min I could offer about 2 quid. Waiting for a crash 😄

lololololollll · 11/12/2021 19:16

When I say love it, I mean I could do wondrous things to it

MarshaBradyo · 11/12/2021 19:17

Ooh that’s pretty bad

underneaththeash · 11/12/2021 19:17

It's very Chigwell

ChequerBoard · 11/12/2021 19:18

@KeyErro

Just down the road from Grange Hill Grin Love it

It's Jackie & Zammo's pad innit?
