morphy richards hot water dispenser or breville brita?

Anyone got the morphy richards hot water dispenser or breville brita one cup or casa. Any views as alternative to boiling water tap.

We were very happy with our breville one cup for water temp and energy efficiency but it needed refilling too often and didnt have water filter incorporated and we are in hard water area. Hence looking for an alternative with bigger capacity. Thanks

I don't know but I do like morphy richards as a brand as have a breadmaker from them which I have used for 15 years.

I have the Morphy Richards One Cup. It's very good, can dispense variable amounts, up to an oversized mug. It's the older basic model, which doesn't have a scale filter, but it was easy to descale (and we are in a very hard water area) There's apparently a new one with Britax module and variable temperatures and all the bells & whistles, but it's about £100. I can't remember how much mine was, and it was bought about 7 years ago anyway, but it was nothing like that price.

Thank you I dont think they do a basic morphy richards one anymore. However am happy with £100 if it does the job as it saves the cost of a boiling water tap as i want it to go in breakfast cupboard which the boiling water tap cant.

I have the Brita one cup. It’s good, but my largest mugs need one big and one small boil to fill and my most used mugs don’t quite get full from the big mug setting. I’d like a bigger option. Also the filter bit takes up quite a lot of room so it needs almost constant refilling. This was a pain to begin with but I’ve got into the habit of pouring some water in every time I make a drink which keeps it topped up.

Also my old kettle had variable temperature options which I do quite miss

I loved our brita one cup. Great in a hard water area but as pp said, it would be better if it could dispense a larger volume of water as it didn't fill my larger cups. Also annoying for jugs of gravy etc. I think the largest volume per cup was 300ml.
when we moved house my husband insisted on a kettle.

the problem with the breville is it filled from the back so if it is used in a breakfast cupboard it has to be pulled completely out whereas it looks like the morphy richards can be filled in situ.
