Bath panel dilemma?!

Hi all
We need a bath side panel for what appears to me a standard rectangular bath. We’ve already bought one and had to give it away because it didn’t fit. The measurement is 21 inches tall by 66 inches wide. The issue is everything we find online is a close match but not exact. My spouse feels we need a made to measure one as the ready ones cannot be bent to fit (I thought acrylic ones could?) but please tell me we don’t need to get one made for £££?! Surely a big standard bath panel exists somewhere which we could buy and fit. Here’s a pic of the bath with the side panel missing! Thanks for any help and MANY thanks if you can give a link to something that might work!

By the shape that side was meant to go against a wall. Have you tried that bath's manufacturer? If no joy I've just had a bath panel made and it cost £100 for marine ply sprayed to match wall colour (delivered).

Oooh can you share or PM the link or contact for the people you used?

Ready made bathpanels can be cut to fit. Some have height adjustment. Try Screwfix.

Have you thought about tiling mdf cut to fit.

What was wrong with the one you tried? Too big? Too small?

Onatree · 03/12/2021 09:38

The one we got was too big. It needs to be 1680 mm wide and 21 inches height. Seems simple enough but I cannot find one!

You need to cut bath panels down to fit

Could you get a wooden one and just cut it down a bit

I’ve got to say bath panels with access to storage behind are great. Although it does get a bit spidery in there.
