Estate agents for retro properties? Is it a thing?

This might not actually be a thing but here goes…

Has anyone ever come across any estate agents that specialise in retro style properties?

My family are currently in the process of settling my grandparents house, outside London but within the commuter belt (Essex). It’s still got loads of great retro features and has been so well cared for over the years. I know there’s a market for original decor and features from 1960s and 70s but just wondered if there were any estate agents that specialise in that market. It might suit buyers looking to get out of London but still stay within a commutable distance.

I know the chances are someone will probably buy it and gut it but thought I’d make one last attempt at seeing if there might be agent out there that could find a new owner who’ll appreciate and cherish all its retro charm.

Any recommendations greatly appreciated!

Yes, the one I’m aware of is The Modern House - they sell lots of design-led and often midcentury/retro properties.

I suggest The Modern House too.

Came on to shout MODERN HOUSE (lovely website) but I’m not the first to think that, I see :)

Worth contacting the chap who runs Retro to Go website if you want to try selling privately.

Modern House’s sister site, inigo.com/?
