Help! Zoned central heating.

We have just had gas underfloor heating installed in our kitchen extension. This is operated by a traditional thermostat.

For the rest of the house we have radiators and a nest thermostat.

The two separate systems use the same combi boiler.

Can anyone tell me how they work together? Ideally what we'd like is to be able to control them separately without them interfering with one another (which they seem to!) - so we let the nest do it's thing and separately either turn the traditional thermostat on manually or set a timer.

Any help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks!
