Let Alliance Nil Deposit Scheme

Can anyone who has rented and used this scheme instead of paying a deposit tell me what happened when you moved out? I'm planning to do all the usual cleaning etc. but I'm not sure what would happen if the landlord decides they want payment for something that would normally come out of the deposit, because there isn't one?

If there’s damage or the property isn’t cleaned to an acceptable standard then Let Alliance will reimburse the landlord their costs (up to the value of six weeks’ rent) and then seek to reclaim the money from you through the small claims courts.

Thanks @ComtesseDeSpair in hindsight I would be more comfortable with a standard deposit, I feel a bit wary of the set up, but I've never had a penny taken from a deposit in any house I've rented so this should be no different.
