Hey! Would anyone have any feedback/ advice on what Widdrington is like as a place to live?
Looking at possibly re-locating from the South and have been looking at the Morpeth area.

There is a huge difference in house prices in some of these areas , I suspect amble would cost twice or more what Cramlington costs

Your budget :requirements will likely be a factor ?

North Shields is quite up and coming at the minute, there's been a lot of development around the Fish Quay!

Monkseaton is nice too, I just found this Ivanhoe, Monkseaton

I live in wallsend and love it but many don't see the appeal Grin

I wouldn't say that. As some have said, Amble has only recently had a spike in desirability and cramlington has many amenities.

Warkworth on the other hand - property there is very expensive.

Suggest avoiding widdrington and Blyth (am local).

Morpeth is nice, as are Hexham and Ponteland. Easy access to Newcastle, lots of amenities, young families. Cramlington is okay, but there are nicer places. If you want to be further North, Alnwick is the best bet.
