Contract paperwork - help me get a hold of my self!

We are really keen to exchange contracts ASAP.

Chain is FT buyers on our place and our onward purchase is probate, so pretty short.

My Conveyancers sent through the contract paperwork today and now I have gone all giddy!!!

Please keep me steady and tell me why it'll still be bloody ages yet and we'll probably not be in before Xmas

We signed the other day and are looking at a pre Christmas exchange - similar chain to you. I'm merrily sitting here panicking my arse off and pretending it might not happen Good luck!

That's what I'm giddy about - I will really need to crack on with packing and getting rid of stuff we don't need.

Do you know when you might set a completion date @Thurlow?

We're already talking about it, our vendors have said they can do after X date and so we've gone back to our buyers to see what works for them
