I am in Ireland so the market is different but this house went up for sale nearly a month ago and there hasn't even been one enquiry or viewing. Is there anything that could/should be done to improve the ad and get someone interested in it?

The black sofas are horrible. Just get rid of them. As well as the dining table and chairs... very generic and sad. Sorry

id get rid of the sofa and chairs . having them pushed right up against the wall looks like you are trying to create a space thats not there

I think that the main pic makes it look like it's an extension tacked onto the house next door, maybe its the angle ?

Agree with this. The main pic needs to centre your house much more. At the moment it looks half like an afterthought bolt-on to the other house, and the other half is all the side pavement, road and houses behind. Change the angle and make your house the total focus.

Also sounds like clarity is needed on exactly where the listing should be geographically, and it could well be price too if no one's interested at all. As PP says, bungalows often cost more than standard houses so that comparison may be a bum steer.

I'd change estate agents as soon as your contract allows. The lack of a floor plan, the photos, the discrepancy between the info at the top of the agent's details and the description regarding the number of bathrooms etc. Might also consider screening the shed and definitely remove the dog cage before new photos are taken.

Also the back garden looks overlooked by the house with cream rendered walls. So a better photo of the back garden might help.

In all honesty I was looking at buying houses in Enniscorthy last year (July/August) and I was getting 4 beds coming up for around €150-175k that weren't fixer uppers or anything like that. There were houses this size/quality in Dublin for around this price. I understand prices have gone up and appreciate you've done up the attic very nicely, but there's just nothing about this house that justifies quite such a high price tag, I'm sorry to be mean.

It also looks a bit like the holiday homes for sale in other parts of Wexford (Courtown for example) so even though Enniscorthy isn't a holiday town it might be worth making it clear to be sure it's appealing to people in Dublin/Wicklow thinking of trying to get a decent foot onto the property ladder (because as I'm sure you'll know, holiday homes aren't built to the same spec with regards to build quality, insulation etc as "proper" houses and usually have an annual charge with them too).

Oh and I've just noticed from the map you're actually in Bunclody not Enniscorthy. People looking for a specific area aren't going to find you that way, your listing should say Bunclody to make it clear where you really are located as you don't have the same access to the M11 for commuters but you're in a nicer spot for people looking for a quieter life.
