Land registry transaction data wrong - does it matter?

I was just having a nosy at some of my neighbours houses on the land registry database & my house sale price and date is wrong - does it matter? And if so, is this the solicitor I need to go back to or direct to the LR?

ETA: it's off by £100k so pretty significant and the date shown is a year before it was even built Confused

IMO, the main thing is that your name is there.

If your house is a BTL, definately get it updated as it will have CGT effects.

If your house is your primary residence, i doubt it will really matter. But best to check with LR.

Thanks I'll give them a buzz - it's our main (only) home and not planning on moving yet but do t want to leave it and then find it causes issues when we sell such as why ours is so much cheaper than identical neighbouring houses.

I’d get it changed. When you come to sell people will assume it was cheaper for some reason and base their offer on that…or assume something was wrong with it.
