Nice cosy synthetic carpet recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendation of cosy feeling synthetic carpets. I’m struggling to find any that don’t remind me of my grandma 😬 and due to allergies wool is out. I’ve never bought a carpet before and finding it all a bit confusing
Would be for cottage living room so neutral to work with beams/stone etc

we have axminster in our lounge with thick underlay and its lovely and soft to walk on we went to an independant carpet supplier and total cost with fitting was £500 for 14 by 11 ft room
