Amtico flooring- did you bother with floor dressing?

I’ve just had a new Amtico floor fitted in my kitchen today. I asked the fitted about cleaning but he was pretty vague other than making sure the mop isn’t too wet. Have read online about the amtico floor dressing- is it worth doing? & does it change the appearance of the floor?

Never done it. Just a light wash keeps if pristine.

I didn't do it, just don't be heavy handed with your mop.

Vacuum to remove grit first though.

Brilliant, thank you for all your replies. Won’t bother getting the dressing. Do you use the amtico cleaner?

I do. But I honestly think a non aggressive diluted cleaner is fine. If you get loose dirt off with a vacuum, you can use an eco friendly cleaner.

Amtico is pretty hardy and waterproof. I've used a steam cleaner on mine with no problems but most of the time just used a mop and diluted multi surface cleaner.
