Bought a house last spring, not happy with the area and was thinking about selling it and moving somewhere else. However, the sale hasn't been registered on Land Registry. Can I put it back on the market if it still hasnt been registered? Thinking ahead for after Christimas. Any insights would be great, thank you

There is a massive backlog at LR i believe. But best to have it sorted. I would ring the LR helpline, or contact your conveyancer to see if they can push to get the registration updated asap.

You’ll need it registered.

You could start the process but not exchange until it’s updated I suppose.

No, but I wouldn’t necessarily blame the land registry for a such a long delay with a simple application - it’s much more likely after this long to be a f-up from your conveyancer.

No. Our one bed flat completed in June. I got pregnant in November and we stc in December. We had to show the completion statement.

Thank you. Will chase up our solicitor and maybe get a few estate agents in as well
