Wobbling on worktop choice

I have ordered Silestone Pearl Jasmine, but am thinking now that it’s too grey. Although we’re having French doors put in, the kitchen is still not brilliantly light as it’s north facing.

The cabinets will be hand painted in situ so still have wiggle room there, but I’m probably going to go for Pale Lupin by Little Green along a 15 ft run, with a shelf above. So I’m wondering whether to swap a lighted colour like Calacatta , which I think would look fresher against the blue.

Any ideas?? Builders start ripping out units tomorrow and it’ll be a month until worktops are templates, so hopefully I can change the order.

I’d go lighter.

OP, choose something you love, as it's an expensive regret otherwise. Don't worry about whether it's fashionable or anything else. Just think: do I love it?

Thanks. I defiantly want a lighter colour, Will call the worktop ppl tomorrow 😊

Thank you @LittleOverWhelmed, I love your kitchen, it looks very much like my design (Harvey Jones? Recognise the pantry I think!). It's beautiful, and thanks for the advice. I'm going back to the worktop showroom today to see if I can cadge some samples :-)

I realised I typed Defiantly instead of Definitely earlier. I'm always inwardly slagging off people on Tripadvisor who are defiantly going to return to a restaurant Shock.
Going to flagellate myself quietly now.

Littleoverwhelmed can I ask what brand your calacatta gold is. I’ve just ordered calacatta gold in order to avoid the ubiquitous Carrara and calacatta but I’m having a wobble that there will be too much warmth. Yours looks lovely.

Thanks @LittleOverWhelmed, I will look that up!

I will also be taking a look!

Yes our island is big. It’s a three sided wrap around island and the longest length is 5m.. Ours is currently worldwide stones calacatta oro legario but it’s out of stock so we might have to switch anyway. Cupboards are not yet painted but my current intention is to go with little greene slaked lime.
