Pax wardrobes handleless?

I really like the look of the panelled pax doors (bergsbo I think they are). However I don’t want to add handles as they are to be used in a dining room/home office rather than a bedroom.

I basically want it to look more like a panelled wall but with storage behind. Does anyone know if you can use these without handles, or have an alternative idea… could obviously get tailor made but think that would be very expensive!

You could, as the handles don't come preattached or with screw holes, but you may struggle to open them.

As above... They don't have the holes but I have no idea how you can open them without a handle.

There are low profile thin metal ones Oppyard and you can place them anywhere on the door if you want to hide them.

You can get push openers for doors - so you push on the door to open & close it rather than use a handle. Don't know if they'd work with the doors you have in mind (can't see why not) so have a google ("push opener for cabinet doors")

Ikea do them!

No doubt someone in store can tell you whether they'd work on the PAX doors.

If you can reach the top of the doors then can easily be opened without handles.

We had these wardrobes and doors in our last house. I forgot to order handles and once they were installed I liked the look so didn’t bother fitting any. I could easily reach the top of the door and there was never a problem opening them. They look really good without the handles.Smile

We have these in the bedroom without handles. I reach up high to open the doors.

We have these in two rooms. We fitted the push open mechanisms that you can buy from IKEA.

You can get panelled sliding doors for Pax. No need for handles.

We are fitting the tall 2.4m PAX wardrobe at the moment. You can have push fit closers on the single door wardrobes (50cm and 70cm) but not the 100cm wide (double door) ones as you will need a central divider to mount the closer.

Could you mount the closer to a shelf? They would need to be horizontal rather than vertical but that wold work.
