Comfortable cushions help

Hi,

I own a pretty hard sofa and unfortunately I can’t afford to replace it. I’m looking for a selection of nice, soft, comfortable cushions that will make it nicer to sit and lay on. Any suggestions of any you’ve bought that you love? Specially if they don’t completely flatten up once you start using them? Up to £40 if possible, thanks so much!

I’ve bought from John Lewis, TK Maxx and independent shops-I tend to wait for the sales. I only buy feather filled plump cushions as they look good for years and they don’t go lumpy or out of shape. I’ve just bought a gorgeous Melyn Tregwynt one-much more expensive than I’d normally pay but I love to look at it and it’s very supportive.
