Amtico 18" by 4" or 9 by 3" flooring in herringbone pattern?

I have really wanted 18 " one but it's not ready until the new year!
Any thoughts on the smaller style pattern? Classic or old fashioned?

Personally I would say that the new year is just around the corner.. just wait and get the one you want or you might end up regretting it
