Selling house - damp found

We are attempting to sell our house.

The survey has come back having found some damp where a window was blocked and they didn't block up the outside properly.

This has sent me into a bit of a panic. What would usually happen in this situation Should we offer to drop the asking price to cover the cost of the repairs?

We had some damp when we sold, our buyer asked either we reduce by the amount the work would cost or if we could have the work done ourselves, we reduced the price so not to slow things down.

It necessarily doesn't sound like a massive issue- if you could find a builder/brickie to look at it and explain what needs to be done (and how much it would cost) maybe that might help?
What do they think wasn't done?

There was a window that should've been bricked up that wasn't. Getting a builder in is a good idea.
