Kitchen queries - layout and sinks

I have added wren initial design. Will go with DIY kitchens though.

My query is about the run from left to right as you look at the image. It is corner base cabinet with wall cupboard above (will have toaster and kettle etc there)

Then it is 1.5 sink, dishwasher, integrated bin, corner cabinet then round the corner to the peninsula.

I would prefer to have double sink, the deep steel ones with sharp corners - this sort of shape. www.sinks-taps.com/shop/reginox-new-york-34x40-single-bowl-sink.html Preferably one that can have a chopping board/colander put in/on.
Two sinks side by side or a double. No draining board, will use sink two. But will need a different base unit? What size base unit?

Ideally would have as the run - kettle corner, space to put washing up, sinks, dishwasher, bin, corner cabinet that can store crockery in, can open while dishwasher open. Or ... could a pullout bin go under the sink? Or crockery storage? Can you put drawers under a sink?

That is basically my dilemma. How to lay it out so it works best.

We eat a lot of vegetables, do space for prep/bin access is important, ditto smooth emptying of dishwasher (big family)

Thanks!

  1. Had sharp cornered sinks before - never again - bugger to clean though look lovely - there are square sinks with slightly rounded corned in the sink which are so so much easier.
  1. Not sure because of pipes you can get integrated bin or drawers under sink
  1. I would get a quooker to save on the kettle space ( stuff to make that work can go under sink )
  1. Put the bin as near as you can to prep space

Sorry not to be of more help - but what I have learned over 3 kitchens

Good luck

DIY do a drawer unit for under the sink. The top drawer is shaped around a sink. Look on their website for an example. I don’t think you can have a bin u it under the sink though.

We are having a sink top of the type that sits complete on top of the unit- it overlaps the unit at one end (partly over the freezer), and is short at the other; there will be a DW one side of the sink unit and the freezer the other. The worktops will continue each side, over the white goods. The only thing that has to synchronise is the sink bowl(s) which has(have) to drop inside the sink unit.

How wide are the various units?
