Plug in radiator recommendation

Our heating is out of action for a while and I need to buy some plug in radiator for use when I gets a bit colder. Convector heaters seem to be cheaper but are they more expensive to run? I'm wondering if oil filled radiators are better. Any recommendations please?

I have a de long history oil filled radiator which is top notch. 100% recommend. It’s on wheels, lightweight, really good.

De longhi! No history involved! Grin

Definitely oil-filled. Cheap ones are as good as branded IME.

I have a delonghi and a dimpled , the thermostat on the dimplex gave up but the delonghi is very good, it's on wheels and has a timer.

Thanks. I've ordered a delonghi oil filled one!
