Buying when house sold

I sold my house and cannot find a suitable one for me to move into. Any good ones seem to be STC prior to even going on websites.

I'm stuck.

The solicitor wants to complete and discharge my mortgage. If that happens I won't get a new mortgage due to circumstances.

I have about £89k equity and can afford to mortgage £30k.

Has anyone got any good suggestions about finding a house quickly? I'm moving to another town an hour away by car but I have to use public transport to get there and view so by the time I get anywhere the house has gone. And it's a full day out to see one house.

Please has anyone got suggestions? I'm getting desperate

Thanks.

Have you tried posting letters though doors in the areas you want to live?
Is there anyone who could take you through to the next town to look st houses? Or a few people who may each take you to a viewing.
Have you costed an uber or similar? I know it might seem very expensive but if it gets you the house.
Have you explained to the estate agent? Book the viewing as soon as it comes on the market but explain why you can only view at certain times.

Thank you for your suggestions they are all very helpful. Sadly, I have noone over here who can help me get there so am emailing agent asking for as.many viewings in one day and paying for, taxi rides between the viewings. I don't even mind getting up at. 5am to catch a really early train.

Thank you for helping me

I hope you are successful as it’s really difficult at the moment.
Try phoning and chatting to the estate agents to build a bit of a relationship so they know you are a serious buyer and hopefully vendors will then wait for you to view before accepting offers
