Combination fireplace - how much should they cost?

I'm looking to get a combination Victorian fireplace - so mantel plus insert. How much is a sensible price? One shop has quoted around £800 for a reproduction, and they go for £400+ in reclamation yards. One private seller has listed one for £500. Is that a good price? (Doesn't include hearth)

We sold ours for £150. Not including mantelpiece but they can be picked up here for £50. It depends how fancy you want.

Are you wanting one which works or for show? The cheaper ones you see often have the ash tray and fire bats and bits missing which are very difficult to source. We have paid £300-£500 for a slate surround and then up to £500 for a cast insert but I am very picky.
