Anyone know about Hampton?

Hi! I’ve found a house in Hampton on Rectory Grove just off Dean Road and I’m wondering what the area/road is like to move to?

Anyone in Hampton can share?

Hi @Househunt991 I know the area well. Rectory Grove isn't the nicest part of Hampton tbh, it's basically the border of Hanworth. You also have 3 large secondary schools in very close proximity on Hanworth Road so there is a lot of traffic and a lot of kids coming and going (ds used to go to one of the schools and it's madness in the mornings and evenings with kids and loads of school busses.)

However if you want to live in Hampton it's one of the most affordable places. You have Buckingham Primary school close by which is supposed to be good now though probably the least popular choice of primaries in Hampton.

Sorry sounding really negative, what is it that attracted you to the house/what are your requirements/budget? Is there a particular reason why you want to be in Hampton?

I don't know much about Hampton except it has a nice pub by the river, but we were house hunting up the road in Teddington earlier in the year, and I'd say for around 70% of the houses we looked at the vendors were moving to Hampton for more space, so I guess it is a bit of a property hotspot right now!
