We are moving (fingers crossed) on Friday and have booked removal men. We got a quote from them before we’d started packing, and I thought had accounted for almost everything however it looks like we’ve slightly underestimated things…
I know this will be anecdotal, but has anyone had experience of this? My assumption is that the quote was given by someone in the office, rather than the people who’ll be doing the actual removal and so they might overlook a few extra boxes (nothing outrageous) for a decent tip? Or am I best to be upfront, even thought it’ll still be the same size of van required and will still be two movers doing the actual job?! I don’t want to be a CF!
