Bathroom mirror in front of window

Has anyone successfully hung / suspended a mirror in front of a window?
Our vanity is right under a huge window and I've seen loads of great pictures on Pinterest but no actual details of how they did it!

I've got my new vanity under the window in my guest bathroom. I'm adding a round mirror on extending arm thingy. Mainly because it needs to be accessible when the roman blind is down.

Cox & Cox sell a mirror that swivels. It would be perfect on the wall next to the window...but that's where my beautiful new wall light will be. Worth a look though if you're looking at options.

We just put a free-standing mirror on the windowsill.

Some practical ideas here. Just Google ‘mirror in front of bathroom window’ and select images. I personally like the square swivel black frame mirrors fitted either side of the window as it has less chance of reducing the light into the room. I think in order to give more ideas, you might want to give us more details about the space or post a picture?

Genuine question - why would you want a mirror in front of a window?

Thanks all. My husband needs on to shave but I'd rather hang a large one rather than a small shaving mirror.

It's a big picture window the whole length of the room with the vanity right in the middle

Thank you so much! I'm sorted at Cox and Cox :) Few extra bits fell into the basket too, got to make the most of the new customer discount 😂
