We have just received an offer for a remortgage and also received a whopping £1K quote from a local solicitors firm to sort it.
How long should a remortgage take? We need to get our hands on the £££ for the builders.
Also does anyone have any good conveyancers they could recommend that wouldn't cost us £1K? The lender are giving us £500 cash back to do it but I wasn't expecting such a high quote for something that is seemingly easy
