Competition for properties

Hello 🙋‍♀️ Have any of you recently rented any property (house or flat)? If so, how long did you search until you found something? My husband and I have been looking for a home for over a month now and still haven't found anything, the competition for properties seems to be too high at the moment... Have you noticed this? I would love to hear your experiences 🌻

DS is looking for a place in Leeds as he now works there..
Most are booked up when he rings. Every single one he manages to book a viewing for gets let before his viewing and cancelled. He has given notice on his current flat in another city. Is going to end up coming back home

We gave up and lost our buyer (had agreed to go into rented, and couldn’t!). There’s still nothing. We are now in a chain instead.
