What flooring would go with this worktop and splashback?

Getting a new kitchen fitted. Budget isn't huge, but we've chosen a compact laminate worktop (Zenith Rouille) and alusplash splashback in frosted flora. Units are white gloss with a J pull.

I'm torn on flooring - we currently have a dark slate coloured tile which I hate, and we're looking at LVT/Karndean/Amtico type stuff, but I don't know whether to go for a wood or stone effect, or how dark to go.
Kitchen has a huge window and patio doors but faces out to the north so doesn't get a lot of direct sunlight.

I keep going round in circles looking at samples so any help is appreciated!

It's completely up to your personal taste but it's said to be a good idea to have flooring which coordinates with your worktops so as not to have too many different surfaces/colours, etc. Personally I'd go with the wooden look but I'm sure someone will be along in a minute who disagrees entirely. What appeals to you OP?

Honestly, @prettyteapotsplease I seem to lean towards whichever sample I've looked at most recently! DH likes this one, and it does look nice, but I know what you mean about not wanting too many different colours and aren't sure if its similar enough to anything else.

Are you allowed to take samples home? If that's possible you could put a few on the floor and see how they look at various times of day which may help you to make a decision.

I agree with pp that I would coordinate with worktops so a dark wood look. I think the one you've posted looks a bit cheap and not in keeping with your kitchen

Yes...I've got about 20 samples Blush but they're all quite small, so its hard to get a feel for them. I may scatter them around the current kitchen and try to ignore the existing brown units...
