Kitchen walls - what colour to paint?

Our kitchen has hideous bright green walls, beige tiles and black kitchen benches. It’s just awful but we want to save for a complete renovation so I just want to paint the walls as it will be the least expensive just to spruce it up a bit for a couple of years.

So what colour goes with beige two-tone tiles and a black kitchen bench please? I can’t decide.

I'd go for white. As none of it goes together anyway at least white will be clean and bright.

White

White or a much darker colour. Blue/black or green/black ?? But check swatch by those beige tiles before committing.

Have you tried the Dulux Colour Visualizer app? They probably steal all your data, but in return you can try out different colours on a pic of your room. It might put you on the right track. It struggles a bit with shadows and stuff, but it’s quite good when it works.

I like those tiles, so I’d go pale neutral above, and if there’s space hang some black-framed pictures on the wall to draw it together with the work surface/floor.

Thanks all, I was thinking white too but I will check out that Dulux visualiser too.
