I have been struggling to find kitchen fitters ( Northamptonshire) to come out and give me a quote in the last month ;(. I have 2 who promised but not sure if they will turn up in the end, anyway was wondering how much is the usual fee ( L shaped , sink and cooker will go in)?just worried I will be ripped off in the end... i am planning to use worktop express and order from there, has anyone used them before? They have amazing reviews , all seems ok.... Thank you

I used a local joiner/carpenter to supply and fit a mid range wood range laminate worktop in an L shape with cut out for sink and hob as well as a new breakfast bar. He also replaced the tiles with new ones that I supplied. This was back in May and the total cost was £865.

Cost of worktop. Two lengths were approx £250. The carpenter who worked for the builder did it and only charged us £80, so it was a bargain but to be fair only took him a couple of hours at most.

Its normally priced on how many cuts etc..... are needed.

I have no idea on prices currently, but it used to be about £95 for a hockey stick join and then about £75 to cut out for a sink/oven etc.... around here (South coast)
