Survey for Remorgage

Hello all, hope you can help. My landlord has asked for access to the property we rent to do a survey for remorgage purposes. Legal & General will be getting in touch, but can I ask you what’s exactly involved in a survey?

Will they be going through my stuff with a fine toothcomb or is it more a general look around.

I’m a bit stressed about it.

They just look around, don’t stress

Hopeful and slightly pathetic bump

They shouldn't be doing a survey as such. Just a valuation. Your possessions won't impact it at all.

Thank you, you are setting my mind at ease.

Yes, this will just be Legal and General valuing the property to make sure the Loan to Value they are offering the landlord falls within their limits.

They will care not a jot about your stuff.
