What to buy for estate agents?

I recently completed on my first property purchase (Grin) after a very long and stressful few months. My solicitor was absolutely fantastic and I bought her a nice box of chocolates and a bottle of wine to show my appreciation.

I would also like to buy the EA something. Even though they didn't work for me they were really helpful (vendors solicitor was useless and slowed everything down) and the EA's really pulled their fingers out and helped to push everything along. It was 2 people in particular but I was thinking of buying a couple of boxes of nice chocolates/biscuits (to share around the office) and a few miniature bottles of wine that they can take home. I'm not sure how many people work there but I was thinking of getting around 6-7 bottles. Does that sound ok?

Any ideas would also be helpful Smile

That sounds lovely - how thoughtful of you! I am sure they will really appreciate it.

I made ours, who I also felt went above and beyond for the whole chain, a hamper of nice nibbles and drinks they could share around the office - I made it myself so it wasn't so expensive. They seemed to like that!

Nice idea. Box of chocolates will always go down well!
Have to say my solicitor has gone above and beyond this past summer but it never occurred to me to buy her anything. I've never met her for one thing and she works in a completely different location to me and her firms office so wouldn't even know where to send anything!
