Limestone look without the price tag

I've fallen in love with a tumbled and rough edged limestone floor with a £100+ price tag (sq metre) without fitting. We just cannot afford it. I've attached a pic.

I'm desperate to try and match it with something similar but not getting much luck. The closest I've come to is a York stone but it's either too black or too light grey, plus it's very matt and I'm hoping for shade variations with a slight sheen.

The flooring is meant for a kitchen and open dining room and outside beyond some bifolds to a small patio area.

Help!

We have these limestone tiles. They’re perhaps more beige than you are after but we love them. Price is currently £48 per square metre but we paid £30 from the same ship three years ago. Prices have risen a lot in the past 6 months!

However if you’re liking for something suitable for outdoor use these might not work. They say they can be used indoors or outside, but I don’t think they’re hard wearing enough for outside. Been looking for something similar for our patio recently and it’s been tricky. Looking at sandstone but not found one that looks as nice or is anywhere near a close match. We have 180 sq metres to buy so don’t want to spend a fortune!

Meant to say, although the Jaipur limestone may not be the colour you’re after, I can recommend the limestone tile as it gives a great effect.

Those tiles look absolutely beautiful! I think I'm in love with them!

I've seen those in the flesh @Notname in their Cardiff
Store - beautiful. I would prefer more grey in them.

I'm also really put off that they need a lot of TLC when theyre down.

We need about 85 sq metres all in all.

Thought the colour might not be any good for you. I don’t think they need much TLW though - they weee sealed when laid and all we have done in the past three years is steam mop them occasionally, and they look as good as new. Wouldn’t have them outside though as think they may scratch.

Ah ok - that's helpful- thanks.
We need about 10 sq metres on a patio area outside.

This is a bit of a headache to sort I must admit!

All I want is a stone effect tile in shades of grey for inside and out!
